Crime Prevention

Mission Statement
The SJSO Crime Prevention Section was established to assist our community in reducing the likelihood that we may become the victims of crime. We stand ready to serve all our residents and visitors alike, and are responsible for the development and implementation of Crime Prevention Programs and information sharing.

Our goal is to promote programs through pro-active means, such as, Women’s Personal Safety, Prevention of Workplace Violence, Seniors vs. Crime and more, to enhance the safety and security of St. Johns County. We are the “meet your needs” Section and have flexible hours to accommodate your community, civic or corporate group, be it during or after normal working hours. Through knowledge, and community involvement, we can help to improve the quality of life in St. Johns County.
