The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the professional functions related to the various aspects of financial management for the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
The CFO oversees budget requests, prepares the annual operating budget, and also monitors and approves day-to-day expenditures.
Other tasks involve the coordination of external audit responses, the overall supervision and review of the units in the division, and assisting in continuously improving productivity and effectiveness.
Information Technology (IT) – Consists of IT section and the Radio Shop.
IT handles functions within the agency relating to Mobile Data Computers (MDT’s), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), etc.
The Radio Shop maintains and repairs agency mobile and portable radios, Comm Center Dispatch Consoles, radio towers, vehicle sirens and emergency response lighting.
