Sheriff Shoar encourages the citizens of St. Johns County to take the time to review safety tips and crime prevention. The following links contain valuable information from the Sheriff’s office on a number of community safety related issues.
The T.E.A.P. agreement will enable the enforcement of all civil traffic violations by SJSO in privately owned and/or gated communities in St. Johns County and will also allow SJSO to hire off-duty deputies to provide additional coverage.
Public Records Request
St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office deputies and civilian personnel submit reports, usually by the end of their daily shifts. You can access them here.
Residents of St. Johns County can be notified of Public safety issues by high-speed telephone emergency notification services. The CODE RED system gives county and city officials the ability to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone notification/information messages to the entire county or to targeted areas.
The core functions of the Corrections Division is to provide care, custody and control for all inmates incarcerated. There are two separate facilities for housing of inmates: the Main Detention Unit and the Community Release Center.
