The Southwest District is over 200 square miles and has over 12 miles that border the beautiful St. Johns River. The Southwest District has many culturally and geographically diverse areas. The largest part of the district is agricultural, but it also encompasses urban communities, as well as equestrian and river communities. The northernmost corner of the Southwest District is the Historic West Augustine, which is a developing area and home to the historic Florida Normal and Industrial Institute. The southwestern portion of the district contains our agricultural and farming industries which produce and sell millions of dollar each year in agricultural products. It’s also home to Hastings, which has become known as the “Potato Capital” of Florida. The Hastings area also has become a haven for equestrian communities and show horse breeding.  Lastly, the western portion of the district borders the St. Johns River and is home to the Riverdale and Tocci communities.

LT Charles Bradley and LT Sid Mickler are the lieutenants for the SW District.  They perform the duty of “Watch Commander” overseeing the shifts during any given period of time.

These Sergeants provide supervision and guidance to the deputies who answer your calls on a daily basis in the SW District.

These men are the ones who will be investigating cases in your district. Should you have any questions relating to a crime or a specific case, you can contact them via email.
