What is Operation Medicine Cabinet?

Prescription drugs and narcotics are flushed away every day, which has severe effects on Florida’s Aquifers. The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office offers a program called Operation Medicine Cabinet which not only combats environmental pollution, but also keeps unwanted and unused drugs off of our streets.  Operation Medicine Cabinet offers citizens an environmentally safe way to dispose of unused drugs while promoting community awareness and preventing crime.
