Office of the Sheriff
The Office of the Sheriff is a division comprised of multiple organizational functions: Internal Affairs, the Professional Compliance Bureau, Community Affairs, the Police Athletic League, Crime Prevention, and the Programs Section.
The many components of the Division of Law Enforcement must work in close cooperation with each other. They range from receiving calls for service, emergency calls, patrolling our communities, investigating crime, processing forensic evidence, analyzing intelligence and working with our judicial partners to protect our communities.
The Corrections Division provides care, custody, and control for all inmates incarcerated. There are two separate facilities for housing of inmates: the Main Detention Unit and the Community Work Release Center.
The Division of Financial Services encompasses Budget, Payroll, Accounting, Inventory, Grants and more. Each section works together towards accomplishing shared goals, ensuring the most accurate accounting practices are achieved.
The General Services Division includes Human Resources, Risk Management, Records Management, Information Technology, Training, Fleet Management, and Professional Standards. All of these units provide direct support to the law enforcement and corrections mission of the agency.
