Move Over Law
Move over law – Florida law requires you to Move Over a lane for stopped law enforcement, emergency, sanitation, utility service vehicles, tow trucks or wreckers, maintenance or construction vehicles with displaying warning lights, and any disabled vehicle on the side of the road. #MOVEOVERFL
Window Tint
Tint – Florida law allows 28% in the front windows and 15% in the rear windows.

Florida Bumper Laws
Florida Bumper Laws – Front Bumper Height shall not exceed 28 inches in front for trucks with a net shipping weight of 3000-5000 pounds.
Florida Exhaust Regulations
Florida Exhaust Regulations - No person shall modify the exhaust system of a motor vehicle operated upon the highways in such a manner that the noise emitted by the motor vehicle is above that emitted by the vehicle as originally manufactured.
A person may not operate a motor vehicle while manually typing or entering multiple letters, numbers, symbols, or other characters into a wireless communications device or while sending or reading data on such a device for the purpose of nonvoice interpersonal communication, including, but not limited to, communication methods known as texting, e-mailing, and instant messaging.

Bicycle Signs, Signals & Markings
Golf Carts
Effect October 1, 2023 Florida Statute 316.212 now prohibits a person under 18 years of age from operating a golf cart on certain roadways unless he or she possesses a valid learner’s driver license or valid driver license.
Pedestrian Traffic Regulations
In Florida, a pedestrian is anyone traveling on foot, in a wheelchair, using rollerblades or skates, or on a skateboard. See Florida Statute 316.130 for all Pedestrian Traffic Regulations.
Common Parking Violations
According to Florida Statute 316.1945(3), “A law enforcement officer or parking enforcement specialist who discovers a vehicle parked in violation of this section or a municipal or county ordinance may: (a) Issue a ticket form as may be used by a political subdivision or municipality to the driver; or (b) If the vehicle is unattended, attach such ticket to the vehicle in a conspicuous place.”
