Explorer Post 911 is the premier experience and orientation program for young people considering a career in criminal justice. The mission of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Program is to provide a platform for youth, ages 14-21, to explore the field of criminal justice through hands on training, practical application, leadership, communication, and participation in community service projects.
All weekly Monday night meetings take place from 6:30-8:30pm at 911 Law Enforcement Way, St. Augustine, FL 32092
The Explorer Application will be available from July 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025, unless a maximum of 30 Explorers/Cadets are filled. Once applications are complete, please send them to [email protected].
Explorers must pay a one-time annual payment, non-refundable $205.00 membership fee upon acceptance into the Post. There are other Post dues throughout the year to help cover food and entry into theme parks / competitions; however, the Post takes a majority of the costs when applicable.
