Regions

Road Patrol

St. Johns County is divided into three geographical regions that run east to west from the St. Johns River to the Atlantic Ocean and north to south with boundaries strategically designed to optimize response times for calls for service.

North Region

The North Region extends from the Duval County line moving south to International Golf Parkway. The North Region has a vast number of single family communities with their own unique features, and include many golf cart approved neighborhoods. The North Region is also home to the annual The Players Championship (TPC) at Sawgrass which brings several hundred thousand visitors to this area each spring. Within a few minutes drive, visitors and residents have access to pristine beaches, shopping, and major airports.

Central Region

The Central Region runs from International Golf Parkway south to County Road 207. The Central Region is rich with history that includes the oldest city in the nation St. Augustine, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, and Anastasia Island. The Central Region is also home to Flagler College and was the home for historic Florida Memorial University (1918-1968) in West Augustine.

South Region

The South Region extends south from State Road 207 and ends at the Flagler County line. The South Region has a large agricultural area that surrounds Hastings (est. 1890) which is known as the “Potato Capital of Florida.” The county Fairgrounds which is the venue for concerts, community engagements and private events, Rails to Trails, Faver Dykes State Park and Fort Matanzas National Monument are also located in the South Region.
